Popular Craft Brewer Heading North on Highway 61 to Hannibal

Wentzville, MO - Friendship Brewing Company is opening a new location in Hannibal, Missouri, in late 2022. Before the craft brewery opens its doors, the property, formerly known as Mark Twain Brewing, will get a much-needed revamp.

Friendship Brewing Company owners Brian Nolan and David Brewer believe creating superior craft beer brings their motto to life; “Friends making beer, beer making friends.” The duo is eager to deliver the “everybody knows your name” vibe to Hannibal residents and tourists.

The historic charm of the new location is ideal for Friendship Brewing Company. Nolan and Brewer plan to renovate the taproom and redesign the front facade.

“We want to give this building the full attention it deserves by making necessary updates while keeping the flavor of the historic building,” Brewer said. “We believe the residents of Hannibal have waited a long time to see something spectacular come from this building. We cannot wait to open our doors to them and serve some of the finest locally brewed craft beers in a friendly environment.”

With a new front entrance on Main Street and some massive curb appeal at the north end, Friendship Brewing Company hopes to attract visitors from the downtown Hannibal area. Nolan indicated Friendship Brewing Company is adding a significant outdoor “beer garden” space that will connect to the taproom.

“We will focus on being a brewery first, with an exceptional experience, including live music and a well-crafted food menu to support the taproom,” Nolan said.

In 2016, Friendship Brewing Company opened its first location in Wentzville, Missouri. The brewery is a local favorite that offers twenty-four house beers with seasonal and special releases. Friendship Brewing Company provides a laid-back environment with a stellar variety of

specialty beers and seasonal batches.

Friendship Brewing Company is active in the Wentzville community and is heavily involved in charitable causes in the area. Nolan and Brewer intend to bring this same spirit of community involvement to their new location in Hannibal.

Nolan and Brewer invite Hannibal residents to check out the original location in Old Town Wentzville. The duo is also working on another soon-to-be-open location in Flint Hill. Stay tuned to the website for all of the latest details.
